A DIFFERENT KIND OF FARMERS MARKET
Founded in 2012, The Linden Hills Farmers' Market’s mission is to support and strengthen the connection between the local community, local growers, local artisans and musicians by creating opportunities for education about the environment, nutritional values and the importance of buying and consuming locally produced goods.
In 2021, BrightSide Produce took over management of the market. BrightSide is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing food insecurity by improving access to fresh produce. They primarily do this by helping corner stores in underserved communities stock fruits and veggies, and by providing direct home deliveries of fresh produce for folks of all income levels.
The Linden Hills Farmers Market won the Gold Award in 2023 for Best Farmers Market in Minnesota, as voted by Star Tribune readers.
